We are a mid-size industry leader in the medical device manufacturing field (a very specialized marketplace) who currently has an excellent opportunity in our finishing department. The position is located in one of our three locations in the Fair Lawn, NJ area. Primary responsibilities include the following:
Job Description:
Experience with de-burring wheels and machines. Must be able to detect defects/flaws in finishing. Must understand applicable standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to the following: Responsible for sanding, de-burring, and buffing all sheet metal parts. Works closely with the Production Manager. When needed, will perform duties of the Shipper and Shop Worker.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly require standing, walking, sitting, using hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The vision requirements include Standard Vision.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to the basic “Machine Shop” and “Office” environments.
