Additive Orthopaedics (“AO”) designs, patents, manufactures and markets FDA cleared medical device implants leveraging state-of-the-art 3D metal printing technology. Our Business Development team met with Additive Orthopedics to develop support services that would greatly improve their manufacturing needs. Their process is to 3D print externally, then utilize PPM’s DFM, machining and finishing expertise to finalize the production of thier newly FDA Cleared Osteotomy Wedge System. Services include; machining the screw holes and tap, finish the top surface as well as providing ultrasonic cleaning and passivation. We’re excited to support their efforts and to expanding our support services into the additive manufacturing space.
